Winter’s Tales

“When the gods were young, there was no winter.”

A collection of stories about winter, seasons, snow and ice, containing polar bears and wolves, spiders and gods, and a bunch of mistletoe you really wouldn’t want to kiss under! I had great fun finding wonderful wintery tales, and have included some of my favourite Viking and Scottish myths. But there are stories from all over the world, including South America and New Zealand – cold southern tales as well as cold northern tales!

I’m delighted that Winter’s Tales has been Highly Commended in the Scottish Children’s Book Awards!
