I’m doing lots of events this summer to share the new Spellchasers novel The Shapeshifter’s Guide To Running Away, and even more events in the autumn around the launch of The Witch’s Guide to Magical Combat. I hope you can come along to one or two of them! (And please check back again, because we’ll be adding new events soon…)

Sunday 2nd July
Bradford Literary Festival

This is my first visit to what looks like a fabulous festival!
I’ll be talking about the Spellchasers trilogy in the morning, and discussing fairy tales in fiction with a panel including Vivian French and Zoe Marriott in the afternoon

Wednesday 19th July
Inverclyde Libraries

Iā€™m visiting two lovely Inverclyde libraries in one day, to read from the Spellchasers trilogy and help you make up your own adventures.
10 ā€“ 11 am in Gourock Library (01475 712340)
2 ā€“ 3 pm in Kilmacolm Library (01475 715621)
Both events are free for library members, please contact the local library to book your place.

Edinburgh International Book Festival

10.30 am, for 8 – 12 yrs
The launch of the Witch’s Guide to Magical Combat!
The first event with the last book in the Spellchasers Trilogy!

Edinburgh International Book Festival

Migrating Mythologies – an event with Rachael King, who’s written a book about selkies in New Zealand. There will be Fabled Beasts, and lots of chat about how stories and magical creatures move around the world…

Edinburgh International Book Festival Schools Programme

I’ll be revealing the third book in the Spellchasers trilogy, The Witch’s Guide to Magical Combat, at an event for P4 – P6 classes. If you’re interested in coming along, let your teacher or local school know!
