The Treasure of the Loch Ness Monster

book-page1

OUT NOW!

She is Scotland’s most famous monster, but what’s her story?

When I started researching this book, I wanted to go past the question of whether or not Nessie exists, and find some authentic local folklore. I wanted to tell a story that feels like it might be true, a story that feels like it could have been told by people long ago beside the loch…

So this is the story of Ishbel and Kenneth, the treasure they believe lies under Urquhart Castle, the risks they’re prepared to take to find that treasure so they can feed their hungry family, and the even bigger risk swimming below them as they row across Loch Ness. And this is the picture book debut of the wonderful Natasa Ilincic, who has created the most beautiful monster I’ve ever seen.

I am so excited about The Treasure of the Loch Ness Monster, and I can’t want to hear what everyone thinks of it!
